Nina Dreyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LAADC) with over two decades of experience in addiction treatment. With a passion for helping those struggling with substance abuse, Nina’s dual expertise in mental health and addiction counseling allows her to effectively guide both clients and the clinical staff she supervises. She believes that psychotherapy and addiction counseling are deeply interconnected, and this holistic approach has shaped her dedication to her work.
Nina’s journey in the field of detox and residential treatment is driven by her deep compassion and unwavering hope for each client’s recovery. She proudly identifies as a “Helping Professional” whose life purpose is centered around supporting individuals on their path to healing. For Nina, her career is not just a profession but a calling, one that continues to inspire her every day.
A lifelong learner, Nina treasures opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills in the ever-evolving landscape of addiction treatment. She considers it a privilege to witness her clients’ recovery journeys, gaining fulfillment from their personal growth and resilience.
Born and raised in Orange County, Nina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine, followed by a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC). She also earned a post-graduate certificate from the School of Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, an education that laid the foundation for her long-standing career in service.
