Rachel Breithaupt is the founder and owner of Lust for Life Yoga, a sanctuary she created to empower others through the transformative power of yoga. As a Registered Yoga Teacher based in San Clemente, California, she brings a unique blend of expertise to her practice, with a degree in Environmental Science from San Francisco State University and certifications in Pranayama, Breathwork, and Meditation from Loka Yoga School.
Rachel’s yoga path began in 2016 during her early stages of addiction recovery, where yoga became a key element in her journey towards sobriety and beyond. It allowed her to confront cravings, personality traits, and lifestyle choices that hindered her fulfillment, guiding her to focus on the present and accept herself fully. This transformative experience led Rachel on a lifelong journey of helping others in recovery – empowering them to overcome challenges and cultivate a new, non-addictive identity grounded in self-awareness and mental strength.
Rachel believes in the power of shared experiences and continuous learning, embodying the principle that the teacher is always a student of life.
In her private practice and through her collaboration with Adelante’s clients directly at the facility, Rachael delivers a wealth of beneficial and restorative wellness services. Her energy is grounding, and her classes serve as a sanctuary amid the cloudy confusion of early recovery.
