Adelante Recovery Center uses a personalized approach for our addiction treatment programs. Our experienced staff understands that each person has their own unique history and that no two people experience addiction in exactly the same way.

Most clients at our Corona del Mar treatment facility start with detox, which rids the body of drugs and alcohol. It’s normal for people to feel uneasy or nervous about withdrawal symptoms during detox—in fact, it’s one of the most common reasons people put off getting addiction treatment.
But don’t let fear of withdrawal symptoms stop you from getting the help you need. Modern detox programs offer more options than ever to ease discomfort during withdrawal. Our staff will utilize every available option to keep you safe and comfortable during detox.
After detox, most clients move into our residential inpatient program. This is where the real healing begins.
In residential treatment clients work with trained counselors in one-on-one therapy sessions to address the unhealthy thought patterns and coping mechanisms that often underlie addiction. We use a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy.
In group therapy sessions clients work with peers who are also struggling with addiction, under the guidance of a trained addiction counselor.
Our individualized treatment program helps clients learn how to communicate more effectively, cope with triggers, and build inner strength and resilience. We use the 12-step approach at our rehab center, but if you prefer another treatment approach, we’ll work with you to find the best option for your needs.
